The Catastrophe Response Unit (CRU GROUP) is very pleased to announce that James Collins has been appointed to assume the role of Director of US Flood Response. James has been in the P&C industry for more than 14 years and has logged independent deployments for more than 16 different carriers in both the US and Canada. Since 2005, he has focused on working with WYOs and has led teams doing both Large Loss Residential and Commercial flood losses. James was a key leader in both the 2013 Alberta Flood and the 2016 Fort McMurray fire, two events that required evacuations of 110,000 people and 81,000 people respectively.
With more than a large group of NFIP certified adjusters on our roster, and the current state of flood disasters in the US, CRU is mobilizing our flood teams to provide needed relief to companies who can no longer find experienced qualified flood loss adjusters.
